Last weekend I had the chance to shoot the Air & Style on the side of Frode Sandbech for Burn Energy.

It was a tough but super fun weekend with a lot of nice people, great action and mindblowing atmosphere in the stadium.

I´m just super sad for my Chillertal Buddys, who cant make it into the finals, spezially for Werni!

This week I had the honor to spend a day with the Pirates in the backountry of Montafon.

Werni Stock and Fichtl were the ones to put on photo, it was a great bluebird day and I really enjoyed to hang out with those guys!

Folks, I wasn't posting for a while but now I have some great news and a bit of an update of my life.

I was super busy the last weeks lots of shooting, building park and not at least enjoying the great snow.

Yesterday I spent a day in Saalbach with Isenseven. The Strauss twins and Christophe Schmidt built a nice backcountry booter and were sending it.

Now the news!

I´m super stoked to tell you that I´m part of Lucid Gravity now.

Recently I got a couple of prints in current magazines.

If u are a follower of my blog u might already read that I scored the cover of the Swiss 7Sky Magazin.

Last weekend at the Freestyle.ch I finally could grab a copy of that Magazine and also check my 6 douplepages big portfolio!

wow, long time no post!

But I was super busy the last few weeks with building our "... Incredible Project",

that meens there was no time for shooting just swinging the shouvle.

At the end we are super happy with that "thing" and all the crews, who showed up till now, also...

Yesterday I decided to take a day off, so my lovely girl and I went to Gargellen in Montafon for the first Montafon Banked Slalom.

Such a fun weekend with lot´s of nice people, way to much sun and a great banked of course!

I´m back home since Sunday evening now and on one side I enjoy it, at the other side I miss Japan!

It was a SICK trip and definitely the right desicion as the snow in Austria didn´t showed up yet.

The last few days in Niseko were great. Really produktive and the life in Pension Island is too easy! A big thx to Crazy Monkey Kako!!!

Nicholas stayed in Niseko to keep on traveling.

The rest headed to Tokyo where we enjoyed crazy city life and party hard for one day before we flew back to Europe.

I wanna say thx to everybody I met on this trip and a special to True Colors and our crew!

This week I spent a day in Switzerland to shoot there at the first time this season with True Color Films.

Nicholas Wolken, Lisa Filzmoser and filmer Prendi were already a day earlier in St.Moritz to explor the resorts around there.

So Rene Schnöller and me just had to show up to shoot and ride the spots!

Lisa told us about lots of fresh snow but on our way there we couldn´t believe it, cause of the strange weather situation at the moment.

As soon as we arrived we couldn´t trust our eyes! Fresh pow everywhere!

That´s how I like it :)

For such a long time nothing happened here, but I will tell u why!

I was on vacation in Panama, such a nice little piece of earth I visited there. I spent about 2 weeks with my girl and 2 friends in Bocas del Toro, where my really good friend Hannes is working now.

So no computer, no cellphone, just a hammock, some surfing and fresh fish for dinner! I´d love to stay there!!

On the way home we spent 2 days in the biggest city we´v ever seen. New York!

Fuckin awesome there, but a bit stressful compared to the hammock in Panama :)

I brought an ass full of photos back, which I´m still editing. I will post the best of them here soon!

Now I´m back in cold, white and loving Austria and the season is already full on!

On the beach I thought I prefer surfing to snowboarding, but after a view lines on the mountain I´m not so sure anymore! Sooooo good to shred pow again!!!!!!

I´m sure u heard about the Red Bull Illume Contest 2010, it feels like everybody was talking about it.

Although i don´t made it to the super-finals, like some friends (Schöch, Creager, Lolli) I catched the 250 Semi Finalist, with an analog Skate Shot (Xico Basabe / Love Skateboards) and made it also into the Limited Red Bull Illume Photobook

The recent weeks I had a couple of jobs and two of them where documents of the "Beyond Gravity" in the Area 47 and of the "Strassenmusikanten Treffen" in Huben.

The Beyond Gravity is a legendary FMX Show which already existed in the Crazzy Eddy and now with the closing of the Eddy it moved to the new Area 47. It is even bigger with the Ski-, Snowboard-, BMX Waterjump, Skydiver, Cliffdiver and as back in the Day´s with a huge FMX Show.

The Strassenmusikanten Treffen is a nice familier little event on the main street in Huben where musicians and artists from all over the world meet up and celebrate a nice party. Usually it´s always raining but luckily this year we had a dry day........

Nothing special is happening in these days, I´m just enjoying the summer, riding my new bike, swimming, having hay fever....

But last time when I took a trip with my bike I found a very special tree. It was coverd all over with cobwebby.

So I picked my Hasselblad to get some shots.

I exposed a colorfilm and a black and white one. Sorry, u still have to wait for these shots, I didn´t get the colored ones form developing yet. But when I developed the b/w one, I also developed a old one from last summer.

It shows a really nice day in Vienna, where I spend a fun time in Prater with my girl, my sister and friends......

Actually I really like how they support and transport the spirit of this sport.

Season is done and the weather sucks!

Here some things I did the recent days:

had the last shoots on the photokicker
I just finished my Submission for the upcoming Magazine season,
hanging all day long in front of the computer
trying to get some more shots on the Glacier to realize it´s snowing even more now than during the whole Winter,
hanging out with friends,
having a BBQ
enjoying some city life in Innsbruck,

having the famous world big foot meeting with 5 attenders....

Because of the hard snow-conditions and a lot of work in the park I´m a way to lazy with shooting this season. Now that really worm weather period just woke me up, i was thinking the season is over now.

So I´m soo motivated right now to get as many shots as possible, till the last little peace of snow is gone.

The last couple of days I spent some time with my favorite Video Crew Truecolors to get some Shots in my Homeresort Sölden.

Tomorrow there will be another Shooting for the Austrian Ski- and Snowboardinstructor Book and we are currently building on our Photokicker in Sölden!

As I´m still ill, laying lazy around and I´m HELL more than bored I start looking my recent shots.

So I just decided to show u a little urban project I started last autumn with MOG Produktion, Flo Achenrainer, Bobby Dangel, Domink Wagner and Rudi Janda in Vienna.

We just drove snow about 10 Times across the whole City from the Indoor Ice-hall to the Spots.

It was my first Streetrail shooting and I tried to get some shots

Freestyle Feast Reloaded 2010

Swatch Snowpark Sölden, Sat 13th of March 2010

Already for the 5th sequel the Swatch Snowpark Sölden will be rocked during the
legendary Freestyle Feast Reloaded and comes into the firing line of all freeskier and
snowboarders. To avoid being on the scrap heap the event ups the ante this season:
Besides the usual lifestyle-package a snowboard and freeski contest in slopestyle
format takes place in the categories Men, Ladies and Rookies for the first time!

One week before spring break there is no reason to stow away skis and snowboards, because
you are called to the Freestyle Feast Reloaded on the 13th of March 2010 at the Swatch Snowpark Sölden – spring has definitely to wait! On that weekend the beautiful Ötz valley and its surroundings will be traded as an insider-tip of the Austrian ski and snowboard scene. Park
designer Rudi Whylidal and his crew of highly motivated shapers are already looking forward to
the new event and give the park the perfect shape. But the Freestyle Feast Reloaded 2010 also
has some improvements. The “Lifestyle Spectacle” for example has been converted into a
snowboard and freeski contest in slopestyle format. The categories Men, Ladies and Rookies
appeals to each winter sports enthusiast, regardless of age or if they are freeskier or
snowboarder.

The schedule starts early in the morning with the registration of all competitors. The warm up
and training session follows, where you can fight off the remaining feeling of tiredness with
spectacular tricks and jumps. At 10:30 a.m. the fight begins, when the riders first compete in the
qualification rounds and afterwards in the much anticipated finals. The happy winners will be
awarded at the prize giving around 4:00 p.m. where a prize money of EUR 1000.- is paid out.
The best freeskier and also the best snowboarder of the day of the category Men will be invited
to a QParks Special Obstacle Shooting in the Swatch Snowpark Sölden in calendar week 11/12.

Another specialty for all those interested freestylers is the Swatch Shoot-your-Ride Goodies
Session at the beginner line, where everybody, regardless if rookie or pro, has the opportunity to
present his special jump and win non-cash prizes sponsored by the partners.

Beside the competitions, there will also be a varied supporting schedule: A speaker will put
people into good humor during the contest. A Live DJ may also not fail. He is one of a party and
will take his responsibility of entertaining participants and spectators until the end, damn serious!
To have something for absolutely everybody, there will also be a tasty barbeque and cool drinks
within the chill area.

Who wants to get into a mix of a cumulative contest action and a comfortable park party, joins
us this weekend at the Swatch Snowpark Sölden!

The last 3 days I took off from park building and spent some day´s with the new European Video Production "Truecolors"!

We were hiking, shoveling, laughing, shaping, shooting and riding a lot!

I really enjoyed it to hang out with that Crew and spent some time in the backcountry, where we built our first Powderkicker for this season!

By the way I wanna say thanks to Carlos Blanchard, who was shooting with us, too.

He took a really nice Powturn of me!

Happy New Year Folks!

It´s the 2nd of January 2010 and I had my first day off, since we started with the park.

So I decide to spend a day with my friends Alex, René and Matthieu riding and shooting some pillowlines in Hochötz.

What should I say, it was snowing, freezing and bad light, but an EPIC DAY!

I´m Stoked!!!

That poor boy is currently in Hospital, cause of a splenic rupture !

He didn´t know about that publication, so he was even more stoked about it and it helped him a bit through that tough time!

The first snow is falling and covering the top of the mountains.

So I´m a way more than motivated to grab my cam and get the first snowboardshots of the season.

At least I had my first powderturns today in the big whiteout on the Glacier with my good friends and Shredbuddies Rene, Railex and Seppl´s!
